Farming in India has traditionally been a male-centric industry. However, in recent times, with men increasingly migrating to the cities, women are leading the farms using tools and practices that were traditionally designed for men. This is a significant factor leading to a 30% yield drop in women-led farms

We began Project Farm Equal by re-engineering heavy farm machinery with NIYO to suit the ergonomic requirements of women. We are also modifying several standard hand tools that haven’t been changed for centuries to enable thousands of women to farm to their truest potential.
